FoodiFairy Ltd. (hereinafter, together: "the Company") considers the protection of its users' privacy to be of utmost importance and acts to take appropriate technological and organizational measures in order to safeguard the personal information provided to it.

This Privacy Policy was prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and Amendment No. 13 to the Law (approved in August 2024 and entered into force on 14.8.2025).

Use of the website and the Company's services is subject to this Policy and to the Terms of Use.

Please note that these provisions shall apply insofar as the Company collects personal and/or sensitive information under the law. Where the Company does not collect such information, these provisions shall not apply.

This Policy is drafted in the masculine form for convenience only, but refers to women and men alike.

Types of Information the Company May Collect

• Personal Information: Information that enables the direct or indirect identification of a person, such as full name, telephone number, email address, IP address, location data, device identifier (Device ID), cookies (Cookies), and website usage data.

• Sensitive Information: As defined in the law – including data relating to health, politics, religion, personal opinions, sexual orientation, financial condition, or any other information of special sensitivity.

• The Company does not request and does not collect sensitive information for the purpose of providing the services.

• If a user chooses to provide sensitive information on his own initiative (for example, through a contact form), the information shall be deemed sensitive information and shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of law.

 

Purposes of Use of the Information

The Company may use the personal information collected for the following purposes:

• Provision, management and ongoing operation of the services provided to users;

• Managing inquiries and providing a professional response to user inquiries;

• Sending service messages, updates and reminders relating to the services provided;

• Sending advertising mailings, marketing offers or personalized content – only subject to explicit prior consent (opt-in);

• Performing statistical and analytical analyses (including use of Google Analytics tools) for the purpose of improving the services, maintenance and control;

• Compliance with the provisions of law, requirements of competent authorities or other legal obligations applicable to the Company.

 

Databases and Retention of Information

 

The personal information provided by users, insofar as it is provided, shall be retained in the Company's databases in accordance with the provisions of law and registration as required.

The information shall be retained for the period required to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, or for a longer period insofar as required by law.

The Company may delete personal information, in whole or in part, if it finds that it is no longer required for its purposes.

User Rights

In accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law (Amendment No. 13), each user has the following rights:

1. Right of access – to review the personal information retained about him and receive a copy thereof.

2. Right to rectification – to request correction or updating of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.

3. Right to deletion ("the right to be forgotten") – to request deletion of the personal information, including from reasonable backup sources.

4. Right to restriction of processing – to request that use of the information be restricted to certain purposes only.

5. Right to object to processing – especially with respect to processing for marketing or advertising purposes.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

 

The Company does not disclose personal information to third parties except in one of the following cases:

For the purpose of providing the services through external suppliers acting on its behalf (such as data hosting companies, mailing systems and the like);

Where required by law, a court order or a demand of a competent authority;

If the user has given explicit consent to the disclosure of the information;

In the context of a merger, acquisition, transfer of activity or change of control in the Company – provided that this is done subject to law and while ensuring an adequate level of protection for the information.

In any event, the Company shall take reasonable measures to ensure adequate protection of the privacy of the information.

 

Information Security

 

The Company implements reasonable technological and organizational measures to protect the information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

The Company acts in accordance with law, including the management of an internal protection framework, documentation of information processing activities, performance of risk assessments and employee training.

However, the Company cannot guarantee absolute protection against intrusion, malfunction or unauthorized use of the information.

 

Use of Cookies (Cookies)

 

The Company may use cookies and similar technologies for the purpose of improving the user experience, analyzing user traffic, operational control and statistics.

A user may change browser settings so as to block or delete cookies; however, certain services on the website may not operate as required.

 

Updates to the Policy

 

The Company may update this Policy from time to time. An updated version will be published on the website and will enter into effect upon its publication date.
